  1. No way. Fuck the Astros. Every time I see that little cheating Altuve dick I flash him the bird. Would rather play Detroit or NY.

  2. Seeing the Astros makes me think of how Lakers fans felt about needing to beat the Celtics in Boston before the 1985 title.

  3. While redemption would be cool, if we lose it, all those Astros fans that claim 2017 was legit, and actually hate us for calling out their cheating, will then say 2017 is now even more validated cuz they won here (with a totally different team and a totally different season that doesn’t unbang trash cans). It’s nonsensical but again these are the people that hate the Dodgers for calling out their cheating rather than having shame about rooting for cheaters.

I almost would rather face the Yankees. Imagine Judge and Soto vs Ohtani and Betts and Freeman. What a series of big names and big fanbases.

If we could guarantee a win over Astros I’d love it but the risk is giving more fuel to those people.

  4. I’d prefer that those damn ankle nipping, flea bitten Padres, and those no good cheating Astros both be GONE in the first round. I’d prefer Cleveland over Detroit because of the Hinch connection, and the Mets over the Phils because of the Phils thorough domination of us this year (although it would be sweet revenge for 1985 when the results were opposite.) A classic rematch between the Yankees and Dodgers would be my first choice for the WS.

  5. I could never, ever root for the Astros to win in the postseason. I might be able to root for them to win in the regular season if it would benefit my team by pushing a division or league rival team further down in the standings. The Astros are the only team in MLB that I really hate. I root against division rivals but I don’t hate them. I don’t hate Manny Machado but I will always hate Altuve, Gurriel, Correa, Bregman, Springer, and the rest of the guys that cheated. Rooting for the Astros to reach the World Series would be like rooting for the Boston Celtics to reach the NBA Finals: NFW.

  6. Haven’t had the most common world series matchup Yankees vs Dodgers World Series since 1981, this is the year for it

  7. No way the dodgers only drop one to the astros. The way the rotation is right now it’s gonna be way tougher to get through each round, not saying it isnt possible but its gonna be a lot harder than mlb the show seems to think

  8. There is no revenge against the 2017 Trashtos. When Manfred refused to do anything significant about the whole affair, save punishing those who spoke out about it or retaliated on the field, it was over. It’s like knowing someone who was the victim of a violent crime whose assailant walked away scot-free.

So, with that in mind, I would love to see another Dodgers/Yankees World Series. I’ve been fortunate to watch three of them in my lifetime (four if you count the year I was born).

  9. Despite how much I want to see Dodgers demolishing Astros ourselves, I would highly prefer they are crushed by the Tigers today and tomorrow.

  10. Would you rather the Dodgers win in game 4 or 5 away or game 6 at home. Could you handle the extra stress?

  11. I’d rather face the Braves than the Padres.

Anyone but the Phillies and the Astros in the final.

  12. Not even close, wtf. I want the Astros to lose immediately. I’d much prefer an epic showdown of LA vs NY in the WS.

  13. Losing to the Astros would literally be the worst thing that’s ever happened in history.

  14. It’s game 4 and the Dodgers have a 3-0 series lead. Kershaw is on the hump, it’s the fourth inning and the dodgers have a commanding 10-0 lead. Suddenly Kershaw loses his feel and beans three consecutive batters in a row, starting with Altuve.
