Names sent down to Abbotsford include Phil Di Giuseppe, Nate Smith, Christian Wolanin, Jiri Patera, Linus Karlsson, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Ty Mueller, Max Sasson, Christian Felton, Cole McWard, Kirill Kudryavtsev, Elias Pettersson, and Nikita Tolopilo.
This means Aatu Raty, Arshdeep Bains, and Nils Aman remain with the main team for now.

Kind of funny. Wolanin made a lot less mistakes than Desjarnais. Even Woo made less mistakes.. Desjarnais was just a little better than Petterson on defense. I hope he can improve a lot before the season starts. I think they made the right choices in the cuts. Nate Smith was a lot better than I thought he would be.

This team is mid and the prospects are not NHL quality
My favourite 3 from the pre-season. Lek never wow'ed me. He's bottom six at best. Maybe a replacement for a top 6 but he's not better than hoggy, dak or garland. Chances don't translate well into playoff games.

You are misunderstanding these roster updates. these people being assigned to Abbotsford doesn't mean anything. There are still more to come down before preseason ends. It just means they wont have a full time spot on the team. Even the people who haven't been called down yet are most likely there to play for the game against Edmonton, then they will be sent down before the regular season opener. Take Lekkerimaki. He is very good. He will most likely be called up several times. His send down does not mean much. Even the people in practice today aren't guaranteed anything. While someone like bains will probably play a majority of his season in the nhl, doesn't mean he definitely won't play in Abbotsford. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you said in this video, but I don't think this news is very significant
