Basically, Andrews decision comes down to when to have surgery. If he plays, and it gets worse, it could cost him 2025. If he has the procedure now, it'll cost him the rest of 2024.

So it’s his last year here either way it looks like. Haven’t looked at FA centers but if I’m wolf I’d be looking to try to get one in.
We’re losing captains to injury every week now.

Why are our top performers getting injured 2 years in a row
Lowe hurt, Sow hurt, Andrews hurt, Wallace hurt… fucking hell we can’t catch a break. The most important thing on the OL is continuity and learning to trust the guy next to you. We haven’t seemed to have that in what feels like years.
Feels like this is it for DA, I bet he retires at the end of the year. Truly dark days.
This season is just getting worse week by week. At this rate, Maye will have to play as a swing tackle at some point during the season because he‘s one of our 22 remaining healthy players
I’m on team tank shut Andrews down tell maye he’s only playing a couple games at the end and go get banks

This year was always going to be lost. Get the surgery, and heal up Andrews. It’s likely better for your long term health anyway.
Wow. We need to draft a C next year after tackle. Love Andrews, best center ever but we need to think about his replacements. We haven’t seen the worst of our OL yet….stay tuned
I think that even assuming this is a rebuild year, they still need to show some responsibility with the product and to the players by addressing the offensive line immediately. I don’t know who they can find for the interior OL, but they need to put Onwenu back at RG, pray that Strange returns soon (yes, he’s much better than anyone else who’s played this year), find a serviceable backup center in the market, and try to get one or two tackles who at least give them a chance to play football. Cam Robinson could be an option, and Evan Neal might deserve a try.
I’m not sure who they can find, but something needs to be done. At this point, it’s irresponsible, and the front office deserves to be severely blamed for this mismanagement.
This isn’t that big of a loss
I don’t see the point of him trying to play, especially if they aren’t going to play Maye.
