  1. Bregman is generally the only Astro I don’t dislike. (Him not liking Trevor Bauer gets him a lot of points with me.) I’m not happy with him right now though.

  2. I was hoping the reporter would just end whatever story he was trying to say with that base hit.

  3. In unrelated news, apparently a 500 lb bomb dropped during WWII exploded at a Japanese airport today. No one was hurt, but a runway was damaged and 80 flights were delayed.

Talk about the most random shit.

  4. The Astros have mastered the art of hitting balls really hard that go directly to a fielder lol

  5. Unpopular opinion, I like the ESPN telecasts. Is it perfect? No, but I enjoy the graphics package and presentation. It’s a good score bug and package in my view, and it’s clean unlike Fox with its massive bug and neon lights when a home run happens. Now with the announcers, hard to judge when these people only come together for three games. I don’t mind the SNB crew. It’s better than when A-Rod was on.

I wish we had more games on ABC in the year. I am old school how I want more MLB telecasts on broadcast TV with the biggest reach possible.

  6. It seems across all fan platforms, baseball fans are in agreement that the broadcasting announcers for these postseason games are absolute trash. How do they continually get the opportunity to do it?

  7. Who breaks character more, Jimmy Fallon on SNL or Timmy Kurkjian on an ESPN baseball broadcast?

  8. Michael Kay is a top tier play by play guy. If there was one person that I would choose to do World Series games nationally, it would be Michael Kay.

  9. The field mic is cooking this series. Each bat crack sounds massive and you can hear the umpire clear as day.

  10. I give the Astros credit how they never go away quietly. Even yesterday, they fought until the end.

  11. Can we do that thing again where we have a 3-0 lead all game? I liked that much better

  12. what’s wrong with Kay and Frazier? kurkijan won’t stop with the stat anecdotes which really annihilate the flow of game calling

  13. Why you would ever throw him something to let him extend his arms?

He’s standing way off the plate. Either inside edge or way, way low and outside.

  14. I give the Astros credit for playing Whom the Bells Toll often since it’s awesome.
