  1. I believe the Braves will be done tonight, hope I’m wrong but the Padres are better, not knocking our team, we’ve just been through a lot of adversity this season along with underperforming offense.

  2. I think so many fans maybe this new generation are fair weather fans that only cheer when things are going good. How could anyone who claims to be a Braves fan want this season to just be over?? I guess I have seen so much unlikely stuff in baseball that anything could happen.

Max fried going tonight we have a play chance. Nobody knows what could happen.

Guess I was raised in the days of Dale Murphy and the 1980 – 100 loss teams that I enjoy the sport and team no matter what

  3. The offensive part of the Braves remains in the doldrums as has been all season .
Pitching has been quality ; but the inability to score runs simply boggles the mind.
This team persists in the long ball approach and that hasn’t riddled but we continue to try to make it work.Frustrating is too mild describing the feelings we feel.

  4. Braves coaching is what a lot of the rants Jake goes on this season comes down to, but Jake doesn't want acknowledge that Snit and his coaching staff are the crux of this. Not trying to play small ball, giving signs to steal, trying to manufacture runs — that comes down to managing/coaching making the call. Not having relievers up and ready, managing and coaching decision. Not pulling these players aside and saying, take a pitch or two for God's sake, managing/coaching. How is not reminding Arcia, "Hey this guy throws a mean slider that looks like it's going to be behind you and ends up three feet outside. Don't swing at it." not said? He's going to swing at every one of them. There just seems to be a lack of coaching/managing. I'll say it again, Snit's a great manager as long as he doesn't have to manage. Which is to say he's a nice guy, but is horrible at making baseball decisions.

  5. I don’t want to hear shit from anyone about our pitching being bad when we score 0 runs. It wouldn’t have matter if the padres scored 1 or 100.

  6. You're absolutely right, Jake. Their offense is too passive and boring. They're waiting for something that's not going to happen. They're waiting for last year.
Again, this was a game that seemed over at the start.
    I share your frustration.
But I've been a Braves fan for many decades, and I'll never change.

  7. They haven’t been reluctant to try new things they’ve just struggled with what they have in the lineup to do that. Mike doesn’t steal much, nor does Ramon and Ozzie was away for a while. That’s pretty much all the speed they have… I think there might be some reluctance or fear for guys to steal because they don’t wanna run into a double play or get picked off. If only guys would steal a bit more things would change a lot. Again the results of no Ronald on the team and the other guys missing so much time

  8. 4:10 I was there last night! You're correct. Michael King was great, but the Braves had him in trouble in BOTH the first and third inning. I felt the Braves were in that game until Higgy hit that HR in the 8th, making the score 4-0 at that point.
