  3. I’m all for Hader hate based on his Milwaukee exit and subsequent podcast speeches, but he’s had 18 postseason appearances now and has only given up runs in 3 of them. 1.31 ERA coming in to this one.

    And before y’all ask, this is also the first time he’s allowed an inherited runner to score.

Why the actual fuck does (injured?? at the very least not 100%) Sal Frelick get to start over Garrett Mitchell with the season on the line, genuinely absurd how dedicated this team is to maximizing the at-bats of the very weakest hitter in the entire league. The guy slashed fucking .203/.211/.275 in September (Mitchell .238/.304/.540). He has drawn ONE walk in his last 86 plate appearances (9 for Mitchell) and hasn’t homered since the first half of goddamned May. Absolutely ridiculous that .812 OPS Mitchell has to sit so fucking Frelick can play every single inning

  15. I have one ticket for tonight, in 430 (third baseline-ish). I was over-optimistic in thinking I would be able to make it to two games in a week with a 4m/old, anyone want it? Very easy to transfer via Ballpark app.

  16. Would have liked to see Tobias start, but I understand he would only have 4 days rest. Montas does not elicit a lot of confidence for me. Hopefully the bats and defense can get the job done.

    I’m pulling out all the stops with a Rush Moving Pictures strong ale from Henderson Brewing in Toronto. Maybe get some of that Brewjays magic going. If you haven’t tried any of the Rush beers from Henderson, they are friggin delicious.
