Well everyone, it was fun chatting and shit talking with y’all this season. Pitiful ending, but after our start I’m glad we can at least say we made it further than the Rangers and Mariners. Time for this team to clean house and pay those who deserve it and let those who don’t get on their way. Go anyone but the Yanks and Dodgers!
Well…As much as this sucks to lose in the wildcard round with this much talent, we have literally no room to complain. Our slow start came back to bite us by putting us against a scorching hot WC team. We’ve been to 7 straight ALCS’ along with 2 WS and 4 AL pennants. That streak was bound to end eventually. Any fanbase would kill to go on that kind of run. We still have a loaded lineup and will for sure be back next year with a more experienced manager.
Go Stros, go Motor City Kitties, fuck the Yankees and fuck the Dodgers
See y’all next year. Dynasty ain’t over✌️
It truly was a great run
It’s just been one of those weird years. Too good to not win the division (also, no one else in the division good enough to take it from us) but not good enough to go on any sort of run in the playoffs.
Can blame Tuck for going 0 – 7, Pressly for just not having the stuff anymore, bottom of the order for not offering anything, there’s plenty of fingers to point.
Tigers just wanted it more. Got out-played by a young team and out-coached big time, didn’t show enough fight in either game until it was too late. Just gonna have to see where the chips fall in the off-season and hope for the best next year.
The dynasty started with AJ Hinch, and it has ended with AJ Hinch (we’ll be back next year)
I don’t know what to do with the rest of my October
It’s been a ride for this team. People are gonna all kinds of crap but not many teams can say they’ve had our success. Just hoping we won’t take long to retool. Fingers crossed.
It’s over. Couldn’t make it 8 straight ALCS appearances in a row.
Was a great fucking run though.
Shoot it.
I fucking knew it man, the ONLY team I did not want to play in a 3 game series and we get swept.
Also time to start a fucking dialogue on Kyle Tucker, that’s two seasons back to back the man has just disappeared in the playoffs when the team needed him. Can’t even use the injury excuse because he’s been back for a month and was raking in the lead up.
It’s always, ALWAYS the hot Wildcard teams that fuck this team up.
I do not give a single shit who wins this year, just do NOT let it be the fucking Yankees or Dodgers
Hopefully this means Bagwell, Cintron, and Snitker are gone this offseason or we won’t make the postseason next year
Astros postseason without an Altuve homer doesn’t feel good.
This extra month off that they haven’t had in forever should pay dividends.
The season ended as it started. Unable to get the big hit and an expensive bullpen that blows it. Disappointing, but it would be fun to see the Tigers stay hot and take down the rest of the league
Thank you all for the laughs and smiles this season. See y’all on the next run. Astros till we die 🤘🏼
Well, that was the team we saw most of the year. No offense, bullpen blow up. We let ourselves be in a position to play this round and now we’re going home. They 100% have to shore up 1st, Center and Left and probably 3rd too if we don’t sign Bregman. Center has been a hole since Springer left, 1st has been a hole since Yuli declined and left has been a hole for as long as I can remember other than some Brantley love. They need to figure out what to do about Pena too. We can’t count on him to be an offensive threat at all. Speed is all he brings.
That being said, this is still a very solid roster and we weren’t going to get to the ALCS every single year. What we have done since 2017 is a dynasty. The baseball world will celebrate today but the Astros aren’t dead. Bad front office decisions just made us run out of gas.
7 straight home playoff losses
Division winners should never play in the “wild card round”. The MLB playoffs have become the laughing stock of the sports world.
– A Milwaukee fan
At least we aren’t the Rangers

This really is a fitting way to be eliminated. We basically had everything from the 2024 season right here in one game.
– Excellent starting pitching from a guy who struggle early in the year.
– Inability to make a big inning out of a big inning situation. Our 2 runs this game were pretty fluky and could very easily not have happened if Detroit makes just a good defensive play.
– Pretending Pressly is the same pitcher he was in 2022.
– Very little intensity and focus.
Cubs fan here and I detest the 3 game series. A division winner should not be at the mercy of such a short series.
This wild card shit Is stupid. If they want to expand the wildcard series then it should be 4 wild card teams not three and a division winner. I know it’s not the reason we lost but it does seem idiotic.
Lmao y’all remember when they kept dogshitter Abreu on this team because Bagwell had more faith in baseball cards than analytics? That shit was fucking stupid. Hope he realizes to stay the fuck away from making decisions for this team
I hate how I got downvoted when I pointed this out. I am a lifelong supporter and will always root for my Astros BUT to see how we started and how mediocre we were the whole season and to think we can go all the way is absurd. Our dominance had to end but what a fkn record we held. This Astros team is literally going to be the best Astros team we will ever have. Be grateful we all got to witness this. I’ll see yall next season and stop looking at the glass half full. Amazing run, amazing team and amazing moments.
I think our fan base needed this
Godspeed mods
Is this what it feels like to be a Dodgers fan
