Great show guys! This team is building something special! GO HABS GO!
Im am sure they are trying to trade DVO, sooner the better…while he is healthy and to open up a spot. Even if they must eat most of his salary.
Dirty Dach and Arber Xhekass
I dont know man …. nobody stand for a player getting injured when it happens…as to be wifi and thats a shame
Pissed off Dach looks really good, I like it alot
Seems to me the management really has brought in a culture to the team that we have not had for years !
Let me say this. Xhekaj is a goon. What he did, even if his hit didn't hit Stutzle's head is somatic, it was still aimed at his head. We all accuse Tim Wilson with his dirty and predatory hits. This hit was exactly like that. Xhekaj actually leaped from the ice to make the hit. When you do a hit like that, you are going to connect to the head. Lucky for Stutzle, his stick got in the way and his arm was hit first forcing the stick into his face. Otherwise it would of been a predatory head hit. Xhekaj also blindsided Stutzle this is the hit I never want to see in the game. These players need to respect each other and not try to end eachother's career's.
This also proves that Xhekaj is a dumb player. He can be predictable. Just think about this. When playoffs arrive for the Habs, all a team has to do is mug one of our players and then you know what Xhekaj is going to do. He is going to go after one of their players and get his ass suspended and the 5 that he took yesterday, gave 3 goals to Ottawa. This is not what you want to see from a player. Regardless if you like toughness. Toughness doesn't mean you play dumb. I've always hated enforcer players because that is what they only do. Start fights and take dumb penalties. This is not what Xhekaj should be focusing on. He is already weak on his defensive game. He needs to improve it or the only role he will play is enforcer and that means he will be like Ryan Reeves where he either plays for 7 minutes a game or gets benched against a good team that Martin St.Louis actually needs 3 rolling pairs of defenseman.
Whether you like his or not, he has to improve his game. Not taking this kind of dumb actions. Its dangerous and will get his ass suspended.
i firmly believe this is brewing into the perfect storm
Black eye from Xhekaj 😂😂 that guy is a beast
Evans or Dvorak will go if Kapanen stays.
were no longer the team that gets pushed around by everyone
Oliver may just provide a spark to this team that helps temper the loss of Laine.
The hit by Xhekaj was a carbon copy of the hit on Dach, if you sideswipe our first line player we'll do it to yours as well. Xhekaj is a great deterrent to counter any bullying put on this team, many call him dirty but it's usually an eye for an eye situation for whoever he deals with yet he's often villified without considering the context of the events that unfolded to the incident. It's been a typical occurrence for Arbor to deal with and it shows just how strong he is mentally to deal with that type of adversity. As a Habs fan I think he's one of the important pieces that this team has for a long playoff run.
Great show guys. Love seeing the boys fighting for each other. I have to also give props to Greig for his comments after the game saying it was a bad read on his part. Gotta respect that and he also ended up dropping the gloves with Dach, even tho everyone knew he didn’t want to. Go Habs Go
Look I'm all for standing up fot teamates but Xhekaj move was petty and vicious. Plus when your team is ahead you don't do that. Going for their star player, come on! At least, going for Graig would've made sense. Still, at that piont in a game, you let it go and try to win.
I hope the coaching staff will send him a message.
There's a big problem in the NHL, they don't punish effectively the players. Careers are altered and shortened.
It has to come from the players, but hockey being hockey you have to look tough…so nobody will speak out. The players association should adressed that, imo.
I absolutely love this game, but I hate those sneaky moves trying to hurt a player.
The NHL has to change his archaic mindset.
Great podcast as always guys! Given the time change I don't usually watch your podcast live. Living in Europe I have been saying for ages Kapanem is NHL ready after seeing him play many games in Finland / IIHF Championships. Habs have a gem, enjoy watching him.
I am an old boy now and IMO as long as hockey is played, physicality will be involved. Growing up in Montreal in the 70s/80s games were wild. At the start of Larry Robinson's career he fought the goons and they learned how tough he was. Knuckles was the guy for me who wore his heart on his sleeve and allowed our more talented players to play freely.
Regarding Arber, I am not saying he is the next Robinson or Nilan. My point is that a player like Xhekaj is indispensable given his physicality and ability to play the game. He will learn when the time is right to protect his teammates and the right way to go about it.
It is important to remember that Arber beat the odds to make the NHL. He went immediately to professional hockey so all his learning is in the NHL.
Damn love our team ❤
I'll be at the next stream to drop a BOMB idea 🔥
Statistically speaking, the more a player fights the more likely an unexpected injury will occur. Then you'll have a key player or two out for half a season with a broken thumb.
now if that little wussy MSL would get on board, lets see if he sits Arbs after last game
Heineman is looking good too. I would like to see him make the roster.
Have to stop taking bad penalties. Our power play can’t get it done and most games are decided by the special teams.
I would play 7 D’s to send a message to the other teams to say if you guys don’t play fair and if you touch our guys Arber is gonna get you ! Haha cheers
Idc if people think X is dirty; he’s doing his job. Im glad he’s here and I’m sure a lot of people would love to have him on their team.
I wonder how many more times Linea will be cleaned up off the ice

I give Weber a lot of credit for turning this organization around. The leadership he brought to a divided locker room and teaching the leadership group of the team how to conduct themselves. And Geoff Molson for finally stepping up on the business side of the team. The Management and development team the scouting staff. Have been lacking for decades.
Another great 👍 show gents, keep up the good work.
Struble really nailed grieg too😅
Has should not take crap from anyone. One for all and all for one.
