2. Here is what I would do

   Let go of everyone that is on the final year of their contracts

   Get rid of the hitting coaches

   Give Espada one more year to prove it.

   Get younger. Too many “old dudes” on the roster.

   Trade Tucker if your not extending him

3. I wasn’t into baseball or the Astros by 2017 & 2019 plus I know I missed treasured moments from the best Astros baseball era. However, going through a pandemic and making ALCS & WS appearances, win some & lose others, and now, an early postseason exit… I tell myself that I’ve really lived everything possible for a fan in a very short period of time. In the end, cannot win it all every time, huh? Thanks to you both for the great talk, coverage & content in every single episode. You guys know that I listen to other Locked Ons & enjoy some of them but I’m really grateful to have Eric and you Brett covering my favorite team. As disappointing as the end of this season was, it’s memorable to me since I could give myself the chance to see them play irl in Mexico City this year. Hope the next time I see them is in Houston. Also, I’m excited for all our injured guys coming back healthy & for Lance as well. I’ll always believe in him as long as he’s around this team. See you guys next episode. 4. You know unfortunately this maybe really the end of an era. Something seemed off last season and leaked over to this season. It was helluva ride gentleman.

6. The Dynasty is over but at least we have 2 WS in my lifetime. I thought I be a grandpa or even passed away before we actually won a championship. I know a lot of people will not be here next year let’s just hope they don’t miss the playoffs next year. But deplorable play the last two days but they let the city down big time. It’s in the Texans, Rockets, and Dynamos to bring home a championship to the city. Houston deserves a parade

17. I think the whole front office should be fired including bagwell. So many bad decisions this season, I also believe this team needs a spark , they need a clutch player.

18. I think if the Astros could have got past this series, the sky was the limit. I don’t believe a lot of people on here realize or care to acknowledge that the Astros don’t play that good during the day. It’s been that way all season. The offense is non existent during day games all season. I knew we were toast as soon as the playoff schedule came out. Probably why I am not that surprised.

22. Yeah this is probably the end Altuve is at the Twlight or getting near the Twlight of his career and Bregman might leave and JV is most likely gone.

    We are not WS contenders anymore but I can’t complain saw this team win two titles and it was a special time.

    However the bright spots is we have some nice young pitchers in Brown and Spencer and we have Javier and Garcia coming back next year.

    We have Framber but he has one more year in his deal if that’s the case I’m ok with letting him walk due to the fact we can’t pay everybody. It’s time to transition to the Hunter Brown era and have him lead the pitching staff.

    The downside is we got to upgrade at certain positions.

    First base is a major need they got to get a legit bat over there at Center Field. Possibly at third base.

    I saw somebody mentioned it and he right we have too many role players that are starting in certain positions and that’s part of the reason why our offense is so inconsistent. We need legit bats at the bottom of the order to get the guys home

    So yeah it’s a good season but a season full of inconsistency not to mention that awful April costed us a bye.

    But yeah it’s rough but the future is bright at least regarding the pitching

31. I agree—ppl are being way too hard on Framber. It was 3-0 most of game 1. That’s on the Astros for not scoring.

33. The astros had a great chance at beating the Gaurdians and the Yankees down the line. The tigers are a great up and coming team. The problem was no offense for the astros. The big four were a no show! Altuve, Yordan, Tucker, and Bregman!

34. The problem wasn't Hunter Brown, it was the no show offense and the crappy relievers.

36. The truth of it is that next year is the last year of the window, and they're likely without Bregman, but they're potentially gaining Garcia, maybe McCullers. It's probably another 88 win team at best. Dynasty is over. Heck of a run though. Best we'll ever have as Astros fans.

Jeremy Pena is just not someone you can build around. 2 mediocre seasons. hopefully Bryce Mathews can be option to replace him. we also need to figure out centerfield. 2 or 3 seasons now of chas & jake myers neither guy can figure it out. We dont have a first baseman & Ryan Pressly just needs to go. i think he blew 10 games this season. its just a sad sad ending.
