When happ threw out Alonso at home!
Curious what would be more impressive Ohtani's season this year, or if next year, he wins 15 games, has more than 200 K's, and is a 40, 40 guy…or even 30, 30 guy?
I said at start of the season 78 Wins so they did a bit better than I thought but still not enough !!!
After all the gnashing of teeth about how superior the Brewers are to the Cubs and about how the Cubs need to aspire to be as good as them… they lasted a grand total of 3 games longer than the Cubs. I don't want to hear any more about the overrated Brewers. Go out next year and bury them in the freaking standings by 20 games.
Montgomery had an ERA+ of 67 this season. So much for that.
The 14-10 Pirates game was the highlight of the season.
All the younger fans don't realize the Cub -Mutts rivalry that goes back to the 60's and became even more intense in the 80's. The Brewers rivalry, if you can even call it that yet is nothing in comparison to the Mutts. Growing up in a White Sux hood in the 60's and 70's formed my most intense hatred of a team that continues to this day. No team is hated by me more than the white sux. My mutts hatred ranks 2nd and began as a kid in 69. Hatred of the Cardinals begins at birth, or at least should begin. Again, younger guys don't get it for the most part. One of my grandfathers was a cards fan, but they are 3rd in my hatred ranking. The Brewers thing is fairly new and held close, more often than not by the 40 and under fan base. I was pulling for the brewfools in this series. Isn't baseball the hands down finest game in all of sports???? I love it!
Matt even looks at the comments. Listen, the Cubs ownership is not going to spend money next year. 2025 is all about tinkering with the lineup and using the triple A elevator for pitching. Jed hoyer messed up with those contracts. But #30 is going to lose his mind next year
Cubs doesn't not want to Development and spend money
Cubs should development and spend the same time
Will always respect your channel especially cause of videos like this. Posting your takes and revisiting them even if some of the takes/predictions were wrong. Just pure respect when it comes to podcasting, little to non do this in the business.
6 hours ago, I was all go Mets. But the Brewers were a good story. If thats at our expense, so be it.
Would be great if Cubs were in the playoffs, dont care what other teams do win or lose….Go Cubs!
High, Cubs vs Dodgers in April. Shota taking down the Evil Empire
Low, Cubs collapse against the Padres. I was at that game and still sick to my stomach
And Sam's take on Montgomery, lol
I had them down for sub 85 wins. Was hard to expect more than 84 wins with a roster that was largely unchanged. I'm worried 2025 is going to be the same thing as well.
They’re Shitty ,
Two words that I do not want to equate to the CUBS next year .
