  1. Respect. He’s still a top 3 closer in the game. He just got beat in a big moment. Moments like this made Mariano great, not saying he’s on that path but he can use this as fuel and a lesson the greats usually do

  2. As a Lifelong Met fan I felt great with Petes bomb…however watchin Williams walk off the field I felt his pain! Anyone whos ever played sports understands that hopefully. This interview he gave no excuses & took the dumb questions like a real man! Hats off to his character in a really hard time!
Now Lets Go Mets beat Philly!!!

  3. Im a Mets fan but have alot of respect for this Brewers squad and the Manager is calss act . Dont make excuses and gives credit where its due . I think these guys will be back in the playoffs next year good young squad

  4. Mets Fan here …hey, its baseball…. don't let this outing define you, you are one heck of a pitcher, arguably one of the best relievers if not the best this season, even the best can give up a long ball…. remember, batters are talented too, it is the competition that is fun, it makes the game fun, sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. Your attitude is pure professional, nothing but respect for you here! Proud of you.
