  1. It's crazy that the Marlins have won a World Series more recently than several teams in this year's playoffs(Guardians, Mets, Tigers, Orioles, Brewers, Padres). However, outside of 1997/2003, they've been largely irrelevant.

    Will this wholesale turnover change anything? It's probably more like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

  2. I might be the only person that liked the home run sculpture in center field. Wouldn't want something like that in any other ballpark, but it fit in Miami. If there is one thing Loria knew, it was art, and that sculpture was a great fit in that spot.

  3. I could give a 💩 about the Marlins (says a disgruntled A's fan) but this is why I watch you, David. The business of baseball, and sports is fascinating, or, how you inform us of what's really going on, more specifically.
