I’d comp one of my favorite Bears in Cordarrelle Patterson. Big, strong, fast acceleration, and top speed.
Velus is a poor man’s Cordarrelle Patterson.
Does “having ball security” also include the ability to catch the football?

I feel like it’s less about ball security and more about his ability to catch the ball in the air.
Dude has the yips…. Idk how you fix that. Probably needs a change of scenery or something. Poles should have traded him for that draft pick mentioned during hard knocks.
Edit: it’s unacceptable that the coaching staff did not play Velus as the KR in preseason
Right now I’m working seeing why he and Tyler Scott are even still on the roster if they are going to be healthy scratches
Fringe depth starter with ball security. Should be on the practice squad with his current skills.

i get he struggles to catch kicks but he is way too explosive to not at least be handing the ball off to occasionally (especially when rojo wasn’t in the rotation)
