  1. Nola loves the mound at Citi Field, shutting out the Mets this year, retiring the last 17 in a 1-0 loss in 2022 and striking out 10 in a row in 2021.

  2. I have mets wining this NLDSseries in 4 game's against the Phillies cheesesteak ride this miracle mets through the wold series mooseGrove is out elbow injury SD pitching rotation weak now finish this dream of a magic mets season long at lastbring it back home city field clinching time let's go miracle mets

  3. Im sorry but wheeler was the best pitcher the mets have had in a decade and if you think he doesn’t find motivation in pitching well against his former team is just coping. What are we talking about?

  4. Wheeler had the best numbers of every pitcher on the Mets the year he was let go. Even better than Degrom. I agree he is a professional but to say its just another team to him is not true imo.

  5. Senga is a nice update… Having seen the Mets runs of 69,73, 86, 2000, 2015, etc.. After 69 I thought anytime the Mets showed amazingness that winning a championship was inevitable.. but then 1973 happened and their wild finish and then beating the big bad Reds thought they would take Oakland but unfortunately Reggie and company did the Mets in.. then in 86, the 108 win Mets struggled throughout the playoffs, and only a miracle that was even bigger than the Alonso homerun happened in the infamous Buckner game.. In this game and that one, the Mets trailed by 2 in their last AB, the biggest different is that there were 2 outs and nobody on before the rally of 1986 began.. Add to that the 108win Mets were about to lose to a Red Sox team in the World Series, the Red Sox who were still under the curse of the babe.. The game seemed so over they already had named Marty Barrett of the Red Sox as the MVP, so while many here call what Alonso did surreal, etc.. and it sure was, 1986 was on another planet.. Its amazing how many celebrating this either dont remember or werent even alive at that time.. So, enjoy it while it lasts, but there is nothing inevitable, the Mets could actually make it all the way, or the dream could be cut short vs Philly, if not Philly than the LA/SD winner, if not then, the AL winner.. Take nothing for granted, but nothing is inevitable..
