Maybe once you stop doing things like this, nice things happen to your team. Karma’s a b*tch!

  1. The L flag is also just something the Cubs already do? I mean I understand the obvious flex factor of an “L” but it’s just kinda goofy since the L flag has been a part of Cubs culture since before the Brewers existed.

  2. You all care too much about an irrelevant franchise.

We have one divisional rival. And it ain’t Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, or Cincinnati

  3. Have they won anything, no but they have been in the playoffs 6 of the last 7 times as a small market team. They’ve also won the division 3 of the last 4 years.

We are living in the past and haven’t done shit recently. Lets chill.

  4. I’m all for razzing your division rivals, but…like…a huge flag ain’t cheap. No way I’m paying for that.

  5. Cubs fans I’ve met don’t give a shit about the brewers generally speaking. Like, they acknowledge they’re a pesky rival up the road but it’s really just left at that.

Diehard brewers fans though are straight up evil towards cubs fans. It’s actually crazy. I have friends and family on both sides and the hardcore brewers fans are straight up miserable

  6. Been a cubs fan since Milwaukee was in the white sox division. Don’t see them as rivals. The Cardinals are our biggest rivals by far! I lived up in Milwaukee for awhile and they despise Chicago in general. Call us flat landers as if they have mountains or something. They hate that we come buy their lands, take their women and sometimes jobs. Bitter people when it comes to sports fans

  7. They hold onto Game 163 like it’s their Game 7 of the World Series, and proceeded to piss down their leg with their only series win being that first one against the Rockies. Since blowing games 6 and 7 against the dodgers at home in the NLCS they’ve;

2019: blown a late lead at home against eventual World Series champs nationals in WC game

2020: “made” the playoffs at 29-31 and promptly swept by eventual World Series champs dodgers in NLDS

2021: division champs after winning game 1 lost 3
straight to eventual World Series champs Braves in NLDS

    2022

2023: another year another sweep in the first round 2-0 by the eventual NL champ D Backs

2024: another year another first round exit as a home team division champ in the wild card round 2-1 to Mets (eventual NL champ?)

Edit: adding this to the main replies

  8. Brewers are impressive in that they have owned the division the last few years with low payroll. But they will never be good enough to win it all.

  9. this post is doing too much. suck it up and move on. they still dominated the division.

  10. At least these clowns got the colors right. Always laugh when I see an L flag with the white background and blue L. If you’re going to troll, troll properly.

  11. Minority opinion here… I think shit like this is hilarious and a fun part of sports. I think OP’s post sounding salty and taking it too seriously is silly.

  12. Dont pay attention to them. No one cares. they wanted to create a rivarly that doea not exist. our only rivals are the red rats.

  13. Who caresssssssss. They are our rival, it’s not a big deal. Still good that our division isn’t winning a WS this year

  14. This is the kind of fun shit that divisional rivals should be doing. I have mad respect for them for putting in the effort for that. Just means we gotta step our game up and get them back!

  15. I always surprised more White Sox fans don’t bring L flags to cross-town games, and stuff like that.

  16. FIB who went to UW Whitewater for 4 years. Brewers fans (and also Packers fans) are also the sorest losers (and sorest winners) of any fan base. Can always expect excuses and stammering and blaming officials.

They are insufferable to watch a game with. So whiny and always starting shit. Probably also since most of them are already drunk by game start. A lot of shit talking for a team that’s never made it to the Word Series.

Like I appreciate a rivalry, but they take it to a level that’s strangely intense, like we burned down their city or something. Like we don’t really care about them, but they HATE us. All Midwest “shore pal” charm goes out the window and they turn into strange whiny monsters.

  17. In one of the series at Milwaukee, there were fans “waving Cub fans goodbye” as they drove back to Chicago thinking it was some epic own. How is winning one game in one series of a regular season series mean anything? Truly little brother behavior and another example of why they’re a truly pathetic PoS fanbase.

  18. 1. Cant expect to fly a W flag and not have opposing teams mock it.

    2. Need to focus on addressing our own issues so we can become a playoff team.

Karma has nothing to do with any of this.
