  1. He doesn’t have to be as good as his dad, but if he can be a lockdown defender, man will have a home on this team for a long time.

  2. Ok, I see three topics here about bronny and one about dalton…hmm…when I go by the game thread bronny got shit on and dalton was the next Roy…wtf is going on with this sub ?

  3. EVERYONE knows, Bryce James will be the 6’7 LeBron 2.0. it’s already been spoken

  4. His offense needs a lot of work and his defense is really good. That’s all we need to say about him

  5. If you’re an offensive player, you can’t show the ball to Bronny—he’s going to knock it away. Over the course of summer league and this game, I’ve noticed that Bronny excels at staying on top of the ball defensively. He does two things exceptionally well: defend and pass. His natural vision and dedication to defense stand out, but he’s not a confident scorer. In that sense, he’s the opposite of Knecht. Still, with the right development, I can see his scoring coming along, and he has the potential to become something like a defensive version of Ricky Rubio with a combination of innate vision plus defensive commitment.

  6. People are giving this kid so much crap cause he’s LeBron’s son. They forget he’s a late second rounder.

He’s athletic, a solid defender and he’s what, 19-20? What more could you want from a 55th pick?

  7. I have never ever seen a 55th pick more scrutinized. What did 56-60th picks do this weekend??

  8. If you could mix Knecht offensive bag with Bronny’s defensive skills, passing and court vision you’d get a straight up killer.

  9. The league and Lakers can always use more defense. Hoping he can carve out a spot as a pesky defender.

  10. Idk what y’all talking about. He’d beat all our asses in a game of pickup. Y’all trippin.

  11. Imagine learning – from your first times on the court – how to guard the best basketball player to ever live? Probably turn out to be a good defender by default. After watching him play; if he wants to be a famous basketball player he could do it himself, I think. Kid is all over the court too.

  12. He has said he wanted to become a solid role player. He is young, and athletic. Him putting effort on the defensive side of the ball, will serve him wonders. As the game slows down for him (hopefully with time) he will find some offensive effectiveness.
