[Duarte] Shohei Ohtani called Yu Darvish his “childhood hero.” He said he wanted to see him go against Yamamoto in Game 2, but is still excited and honored to step in the box and face him in Game 2 on Sunday.

  1. Well that’s god damn adorable. Is this allowed? Isn’t this series supposed to be super fuckin toxic?

  2. If Ohtani really wants to honor Darvish, he will allow Darvish to strike him out. Even swinging the bat would be disrespecting Darvish. Really, Ohtani should just stand there and just admire Darvish’s pitches.

  3. Two Japanese superstars dueling in game 2 is something baseball should have gotten this year

  4. You know, between Freddy and Shohei it’s kinda hard hating the dodgers as much as I do.
