  1. As an Eagles fan I too thought the coordinates where the problem last year but this is still apparently Sirianni's football team just with more motion added! Nick Sirianni's is the type of coach who seems to think that the positioning of skilled players to take advantage of their strengths and properly preparing for match ups isn't as important as sticking to HIS philosophy of what makes a good football team. As a result he's grossly mismanaged his players and what he expects out of them!

Jalen Hurts is an incredible dual threat quarterback. However, he's lacking in some key fundamentals that could make him a truly elite quarterback. Reading defenses is something he's working on now that Kelce is retired and not doing it for him as much. He's also working on pre snap motion but hasn't shown much of that in the last two games. Hurts STILL doesn't have a wide view of the field and it's preventing him from having urgency in the pocket getting the ball to his receivers. Yet, because those receiver aren't Brown or Smith he's not showing the same trust in the backups. Which brings us to the question… WHO THE HELL is going to take responsibility for this man's development!? If it's not moore busy writing the playbook then it has to be Sirianni! "We have our moments" does NOT bode well for that relationship!

Another example is the mismanagement of Bryce Huff! Bryce Huff is nicknamed the Bugatti for a reason, it is because he has great take off as a pass rusher. When he was with the Jets he stayed in a 4 point stance (yes on all fours) and would take off past the blocker and rush the quarterback. He'd be so fast that the blocker on the opposing offense would barely have time to take control of him and he'd sack the QB. The problem is the Eagles are trying to use him as a dedicated linebacker who has to think about everything else around him. He's on both legs in a 2 point stance and can't take off as fast so when he's rushing the passer, even the tight end is able to block him!

If Huff was supposed the be a dedicated linebacker then the pre-season was the time to test this and work things out on defense but no, Sirianni never lets his starters play in preseason games so now we are a quarter into the regular season and just NOW learned he can easily be blocked! The solution is to let Bryce Huff do what he does best! Let him take off in his 4 point stance and think of nothing else but sack the QB! Yes this is a blunder on Howie thinking he's suitably replacement of Hassan Reddick but an even bigger blunder on coach Sirianni for not listening to Fangio when he said he wasn't ready and forced him to stay with his philosophy. It's all fitting a square peg in a round whole scenario.

It's decisions from a head coach who's not as smart as he thinks he is. Unless Nick wants to take the time to develop his players around his philosophy of a football team then the Eagles are gonna continue to win and loses by the skin of their teeth because Sirianni's hasn't learned that asking Howie Roseman to get skilled player to slot in isn't enough! A talented roster hampered by decisions that make life harder for the players and mistakes then follow. If the Eagles organization can get the chance they should get rid of Sirianni ASAP and find a coach who actually will position these players to get the most out of them!

  2. You mention the Bengals like they didn’t also go back to the afc championship the next year and by the way, beating Allen in his own house. Put some respect on Zac’s name

  3. As a Panthers fan that Bryce Young take is wild, it just makes me think they didn't watch the games. My take on Bryce: he either needs the bouncy footwork to be adapted to the NFL and give him vision in the center of the field or he needs to learn to play with normal footwork and just throw outside the numbers giving up the middle. On top of that he needs to either really hit training hard to be able to scramble better when he rolls out or he needs to work really fast when he does so he doesn't get run down. Even if he gets either of those right Bryce still needs to learn to throw on the run when he bails on the pocket, which he just cannot do right now. It's a damn shame but Bryce's skills just did not translate to the NFL, he needs a ton of work and development.

  4. This team will be ok!
AJ misses 3 games, Devonta missed a game, and Lane missed a game! They put a lot of money into their offense because they knew this year and next, their offense has to lead while their rookies grow. The bye week came at the right time as far as health and reevaluating.
Nick isn’t a bad coach but has to learn to get out of the way! Jalen will hopefully will minimize his turnovers. This team has the opportunity to be lights out and we’ve seen flashes so far this season.

  5. McDermott fired if the Bills don't win the Super Bowl is a garbage take. What, should they fire him if they lose the Super Bowl? Lose the AFC Championship?

  6. Sirianni was hired to be Ted Lasso – a “rah-rah” type pseudo-players coach. Work things out in the preseason? Heck no, we’re gonna sit the starters and end up losing marquee players to injury in the first month of conference games anyway. We’re going to play better once we realize we need to grow as human beings. Specialized schemes, playcalling cohesion, team identity, and consistent defensive line play are for suckers. We just need the sunlight and gentle rain of fundamentals like solid tackling, presnap reads, recognition of the blitz, and taking easy first downs with the run game up the gut when we have the lead instead of throwing on 3rd & 3. The team will eventually bloom like the magnificent corpse flower they have been since winning it all in 2017/2018.

  7. Just look at that 2022 historic Eagles defense, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, Jevon Hargrave, Hassan Reddick, Josh Sweat, T.J. Edwards, etc. People wonder why the 2024 Eagles are doing poorly on defense, only two of those dudes are left and they are getting near retirement.

  8. Vic fangio s scheme and the talent we have does not fit our pass rushers are hand in the dirt get off is where there best so Vic is trying to make sweat and huff stand up LBS which that's not what they are they win from speed I even think Nolan Smith would be good pass rusher if they had there hand in the dirt so basically Vic fangio scheme doesn't work with the players we have . Now the offense Nick needs to give full reign to Kellen Moore because I'm seeing ALOT of nicks high school offensive plays being used with a little motion I mean everyone said it was Brian Johnson we'll look at the commanders and Jalen Daniels so that tells me Nick was the problem

  9. I’m a Bills fan and there is absolutely no way we’re getting rid of McDermott. The only reason why we’re relevant again is because of him. Plus, like you said, who is going to replace him? They’re competitive every year. He’s not going anywhere

  10. hot take jim harbaugh is gonna crash out in a few seasons and once his four year suspension from college is up, he'll go crying back. wishagain falls all the way back to their rich rod years and takes him back because that program has zero integrity to it, just like jim

  11. I appreciate you giving a very level headed response about the Eagles. That being said, as an Eagles fan, we're not a good team. We have talent, but we're not a good team.

  12. Redskins fan here. We're getting better but are not likely to win the NFC East. With that being said, Cowboys have a dysfunctional front office and the Eagles coach isn't the best.

Winning the division is technically possible but not likely.

  13. There is a disgusting mindset poisoning football these days where every year is "Superbowl or bust". We are shitting on coaches and players like Lamar, Josh Allen, and Burrow for not winning a Superbowl in their first 3-5 years and it's insane. Only 1 team can win…. a SB is now being considered the MINIMUM requirement to be considered a great player while in the past it never was.

  14. Come on i love Harbaugh but honestly a lot of coaches make contenders….he has proven he can win it all once….in college, saying a Rival to an actual NFL Coach tht has proven he can get it done 3 times….while getting a team there 5 times in his career, 4 with KC, 1 with Philly….we give him too much credit
