Did anyone who watched the Phillies this season honestly expect anything different.
Fuck this bullpen. Obviously want the offense to step it up too but like 5 runs in one inning? Can’t blame the offense for that fucking shit show of a pitching display
Not even really surprised. This team has a lot of holes, especially in the lineup. They can’t hit or pitch late in games. Wheeler the best pitcher in baseball is being wasted.

We are a collection of mostly average hitters who hit more homers than the average hitter.
We were REALLY GOOD when a few of those guys were over achieving, we’ve been an 82ish win team for most of the season.
I still think we got this, but seeing the Mets hit little oppo singles and watching Rojas and Beard launch angling doesn’t make me overly confident.
I’m confident from a pitching perspective that we can turn the rotation back around to Wheeler, with a road win, and take the series still. I wish I had that same confidence in the offense. Series ain’t over by any stretch but they’d better wake up ASAP.
I don’t blame Strahm at all. He was thrown in after Hoffman screwed the inning.
Team sucks! Turner is the worst ss ever. I’m done!

People are acting like they are surprised the Phillies lost. Have you not been watching this team the second half of the season? We’ve been mid – solidly mid. Mets are playing the way we did the first half of the year. We’re still pretending we’re the first half of the year team.

Most predictable game of all time, it checks all the Lolphillies boxes.
-schwarber HR with nobody on -Wheeler is unhittable -Mets use a random pitcher and basically have a bullpen game -offense is completely worthless -Lindor and Nimmo score runs for the Mets.
Such a waste of time to watch this garbage when I can tell you exactly how the game will end
The Phils looked like shit..one HR off of a guy with a year off in the first inning..good luck going back to NYC when they haven’t played a home game in half a month. Mets / Yankees World Series coming up.
Great start by Wheeler only for the bullpen to implode and the bats to go silent. Those were our best relievers. We gotta figure this out quick and get the bats going or it’s going to be another year of what ifs.
Meanwhile even before the Mets were in the playoffs, I said they were the team I’d least want to face in the postseason and here we are.
