  1. Reminds me of how bad Crosby got bullied in his early days. Being famous puts a giant target on your back. Good for him, it takes guts to fight back.

  2. I just hate to see the Hawks do anything right. Of course, I’m a Flyers fan so by rule, I have to hate every team.

But I have loved Bedard since I was able to watch him have so much fun in IIHF tournaments. I knew he’d have to gain a little more “attitude” when he joined the League and he has truly done that.

Considering the injury he went through last season, Connor is doing it right by letting his boys know he’s going to do what he can to handle himself. It’s easy for his mates to back the star player that’s undersized but willing to step up.

I’m sure Bedard was hoping to play for the Flyers so he wouldn’t have to worry about the pressure to win a Cup.

As a kid ( 56 yrs old now ) I too was undersized. But my coach told me I made up for being undersized by lacking any real talent. I was so bad that I was asked to leave my home state of Minnesota and move to Montana where hockey was more of a hobby sport in the 70s. ( I’ve always been a Flyers fan )

    Man I hate the Hawks.

  3. Bedard will swell up like LeBron did as he gets more seasons under his belt. More years in the weight room and some boxing training will give him the metal he needs to be a long term force in the NHL IMO. Clearly he already has the necessary courage.
