I think Robertson is basically done in the Rangers organization. I expect him to get swapped for another team’s struggling AHLer at some point during this season.
One of those guys who just never went and *grabbed* a spot. Not every draft pick will hit at the end of the day.
Robertson is trash. He could’ve easily been the Rangers solution on the 3rd pair LD that has not been permanently filled for the last couple seasons but he has not seized his opportunity.
Not sure why people talk about him not “seizing his opportunity” he’s just not that good.
