  1. Philp will be called up very soon and a few games in Bako will definitely make him even better. Edmonton should look to acquire a 3rd string goalie imo I'm not sure if Delia or Rodrigue are reliable callups, maybe claim a guy like Copley? Aside from that I think our roster looks pretty good and I'm excited for wednesday!

  2. Hey Patrick. I think that we have a pretty darn good opening day roster. Not a great pre-season but I think all the pieces will fall into place soon enough. Have you watched the documentary on Prine? It is pretty good. Definitely geared towards the east more IMO anyways. Have a great Sunday.

  3. Wish I was a little more comfortable with the D corps. They're not bad and they may turn out OK in the end but they don't exactly take your breath away. We'll see.

  4. While I wish they would have waived Perry and kept Lavoie or Philp (keeping Philp and having Ryan play right wing in place of Perry by way of example) would have been a great choice. For those that say you don't waive signed players they did with Josh Brown so there is no reason they don't with Corey Perry especially as he's expected to not play even 2/3rds of the games. Ah well, we'll see what we see. Take care all.

  5. They need Lavoie for injury protection the oilers are old as dirt, and small. Highly likely ther will be a top 9 injury. Philp will be up if the need is to cover pk injury.
