yeah this is the definition of beating yourself vs a bad team, a fumble and a dropped pass by DK and JSN really costed us this game.
the positive is that Geno still looks like a top 5-10 QB in the league.
it’s time for the boys to get over this disappointing loss and move on to Thursday, it’s not the time to start getting down over this, we are on a short week.
GO HAWKS!!
Well the offense tried but the oline was anemic and DK can’t hold onto the ball. The defense got ran through and Tre Brown was burnt. But what can you expect when you play such an elite team like the 1-3 Giants… Same shitty team with same issues year after year
When we were 3-0 people here were telling me that we were a top5 team. I said it was really early to tell as we won only against bad teams. Heck, we almost lost to the Patriots and we can see they are bottom 10.
Last week I said our defense got humbled and there were clear signs that this team was not sound defensively. A lot of mistakes in coverage, a lot of missed tackles, many assignment issues.
Here we are now. Probably 3-3 ending the next week. This team has regressed a lot on offense and basically did not exist on defense in the past two games.
The Giants are a bad team and should have beaten us by a large margin. Time of possession was really bad once again. We cant sustain long drives and our defense cant get out of the field on 3rd downs.
It is hard not to be a downer, but this is going to be a long season. Our lines are once again huge problems.
At least we’ll always have those first 3 weeks
Cursed game. At least the 9ers lost.
100% got what we deserved today
Resigned myself to an ugly win we didn’t deserve just for that embarrassment
D-Line and O-Line are non existent.
It is offensive how bad our offensive line is.
The DK fumble was the moment everything turned against us
Well that kinda sucked
A 102 yd fumble return TD and a blocked field goal return TD in one game. Crazy!
NO NABERS OR SINGLETARY, this was embarrassing
You know how Kurt Warner was working at a grocery store. I genuinely believe we could find a random fat guy at Walmart and he’d be better than our guards
It’s so weird that the NFL season ended week 3, but oh well, at least the Hawks finished undefeated 😀
If you think the team lost because of a blocked kick then you didn’t watch this game. The Seahawks were utterly outclassed and dominated at home today by a team that is in the running for a top 5 draft pick. The defense could not tackle, the pass rush was non existent, and the secondary allowed Daniel Jones to pick them apart.
This team is not ready to compete at a high level.
Our offensive line is defining our season.
Can’t lose to that team down those players at home. Pathetic performance from the whole team, everyone except maybe Tyler played bad.
That felt like a game from Russ’s last season with us
WALKER 20 YDS. WTF IS THIS FUCKING BS
certainly can see the difference between a team that has had 9 days to prepare and rest against a team on a short week
Fuck me we almost stole a game we should have had pretty easily at home but got our asses kicked for 55 minutes.
Grubb running a Waldron on 4th down early the 4th quarter pissed me off. I feel this coaching staff is in over it’s head a bit.
If anyone thinks we’ll do anything this year with the 32nd rank o-line is delusional. Will probably sneak into the playoffs because our division is ass this year but don’t think for a second we’ll win a playoff game with this o-line.
No o-line ranked bottom 5 ever makes deep playoffs run yet alone makes the Super Bowl.
– Some pressure, but over-commiting to the sack and getting stepped
– Missed first tackles looking like last years defence
– Can’t remember seeing a deep shot the whole game until DK in the last 5
– JSN quiet the whole game
– One of the worst Seahawk games I have sat through in a long time, absolutely nothing going for 90% of the game
Mike Mac better have a hard look at what is going on here, because that was dog shit.
We had a lot of chances, but we got to the end and had a shot to tie it
# 90 held the center down, so the guy that blocked it had a bigger gap to go through

Feels like that’s, uh, not legal? someone who know these little rules tell me off please
The fun part about games like these is seeing the people blame Geno. Just like the Steelers game last year. They come out of the woodwork
Embarrassing play in all 3 phases of the game today. Offense was out of sync all game, and couldn’t hold the ball, defense couldn’t tackle, was out of position and struggled to make the adjustments necessary to beat a Daniel Jones led passing attack down their RB1 and WR1. And to top it all off, even when we have a shot, we can’t convert a kick. Long road, and I trust coach Mac to correct the mistakes and turn it around, but this is a bad loss.
Our oline has to be addressed.. 7 sacks, no time in the pocket, no push for the run… sheesh…
Apparently, you’re aloud to put two hands on the snappers back and hold him down while your teammate jumps over him???
This was a perfect recreation of the late-Carroll era Seahawks. It had it all:
-Stagnant offense that can’t convert a 3rd down for most of the game
-Getting dinked and dunked down the field
-Penalties and costly miscues
-Inability to get stops in the run game
Even right down to the offense all of a sudden showing life in the 4th when they go no-huddle, doing enough to give you hope they can come back, and then some dumb ending where we lose
All the ingredients for a shit sandwich
Not a good team. Doomers were right.
It sucks that Walter Jones was at the game and had to watch the o-line suck like usual and Tomlinson just do jack squat on the kick.
This is why I hate shots to the end zone in those situations, it’s 2nd and 4, over a minute left and you have a timeout. The Giants defence is gassed and they’re basically letting you have easy short passes. Could have easily kept moving the ball to try to score a TD or worst case kick a short field goal. Instead you put yourself in a 3rd and 4 you have to make or you’re kicking a 47 yard field goal.
What an embarrassing loss. Jesus. We are going to get smoked like a blunt by the Niners.
The honeymoon period for this coaching staff is officially over. Time to see if they’re worth their mettle.
I’m not a terrible enough person to deserve what Seattle sports does to me on a consistent basis
We’re going 0-3 in these 3 games in 10 days
At some point JS deserves more flack for his lack of investing in and eye for talent in Offensive Linemen.
I mean, my god. How many more years of dog shit OLine play do we have to suffer through before using 1st and 2nd round picks on them?
He deserves some fucking heat. No more “college guards aren’t worth drafting in rounds 1-3 bullshit”
Second game in a row where Geno put the team in his backpack and they let him down.
Oline is still an issue and John put this line together… He no longer has Pete to cover for him.
Let’s just say I heard my neighbor from across the street swear. And he’s generally a nice person. And it was from across the street.
MM better pull the defensive game plan of the century out of his arse for Thursday or we’re in big trouble lol.
Not a single positive to take away from this game.
Honeymoon phase is over with MacDonald. Still believe in him, but his legendary defensive prowess has been thoroughly and completely humiliated for 7 of the last 8 quarters. He has to be better.
That was the most 2019-2023 Pete Carroll game I have ever seen.
Got our taint painted in TOP, giving up easy completions and terrible against the run. Stupid mistakes on offense and an O-Line that couldn’t find a push in a birthing ward of a hospital.
If you don’t like that, you don’t like Seahawks football.
This team is not even close to a contender.
I drove 18 hours to come to this game in person
