  1. Am I wrong or is Adam? I’m 10000% sure that Rodrigues was going to be a UFA when he was acquired by the leafs and the only reason why the Leafs traded for him was for his negotiating rights.

  2. I don't think Knight is the Panther's future. He just hasn't proven himself. I don't think he's good enough and he's being paid way too much. I really wish they would have traded him and kept Stolarz.

  3. 8:55 Devon Levi was also a Florida Panther 😂. The thing with Knight is that he has had mental help problems during these early years. Hopefully he has enough confidence in his game that this won’t affect him and he will demolish like we know he can.

  4. They'll miss Montour and they have not many draft picks to trade away at the deadline, so they'll be trading away 2026 draft picks. I agree that Schmidt will probably look better in Florida than he has in his last few stops, because they're probably not going to ask much from him. Losing Oliver Ekman-Larsson won't hurt them, because he was just a stop gap for injuries that they got some extra use for. I'd be more concerned if I was the team that overpaid for either of Montour or Ekman-Larson, since Florida despite being cap strapped just seems to have a nose for talent when they're adding the right pieces at the deadline. This is not a team you want to play in the playoffs or when they're feeling hangry.
