  1. Pathetic performance all around. One of the worst games I’ve ever seen. Starting pitching, the entire bullpen, the entire offense, and especially the fans. Absolutely pathetic.

Petco is about to be hostile as fuck for the boys. It was already going to be loud, but after the disaster-class by our pavilions? Oh boy get ready

I believe in the boys but this series just became a best of 3 and we have a severe disadvantage. Padres whole team just got a fire lit under them and we’re in some real trouble now. We’re gonna need Knack/Beuhler to pitch some gems, and/or anyone other than Shohei to do something with the bat (looking at you Mookie…. wake the fuck up)

Also: a special fuck you to anyone here defending our fans. They’re trash, and if you can’t see that then you’re trash too. You don’t throw shit at players, why does that need explaining? This Padres team is one of the most unlikeable teams I’ve ever seen but holy shit I’ve never once considering throwing anything at any player at a game.

Despite how shitty this was, it’s just 1-1. Hopefully our bullpen got that out of their system, and hopefully our bats wake up.

  2. I really hope the team is regrouping right after this game to get ready for the next game as well as the rest of the post season. I hope Dave is going to rip all the players to shreds. Lit a fire up their asses. Because they seriously need one.

I need EVERY SINGLE player to step the fuck up instead of looking so defeated and deflated already.

They are playing for one of the greatest sports teams of all time. OF ALL TIME. They need to realize this. They need to fucking play like they are proud to be AND deserve to be called a Dodger.

Regroup. Get ready. Step the fuck up. And we go out and get those wins.

  3. I can’t believe they canceled today’s game. I wish we had a game to remember. See you all on Tuesday!

  4. Basketball can ruin your night. Football can ruin your week. Baseball can ruin your whole life.

  5. We lost. It sucked. Whatever, I can handle that.

But I’m utterly ashamed of the “fans” tonight. Unbelievably embarrassing. There’s no excuse for throwing shit at other players. Get your fucking shit together.

  6. The Padres #9 hitter, Kyle Higashioka, has 3 home runs this post season.

Mookie Betts has 3 hits in October dating back to **2021**

  7. Well yall, all we can hope for is these mutherfukers prove us wrong snd show up in San Diego. Mookie hitless in his last 6 playoff games btw

  8. Embarrassing showing by the team and the fanbase, good job, act like douchebags and make everyone else look bad, stupid motherfuckers

  9. Losing 10-2 counts the same as losing 2-1. We preserved our arms and it’s a 3 game series. We do need prime Buehler on Tuesday and it sucks but this team has proven it can shift momentum in big series the last month of the regular season and I’m sure the locker room isn’t losing faith and neither will I. Let’s go boys.

  10. I don’t care if the game ends in a loss if you at least show effort

But when you let them hit homer after homer, let them talk all the shit in the world on YOUR FIELD and nobody wakes tf up to show any fire back… That’s a massive problem

I PRAY Game 3 there is a big shift in mentality

  11. Well that sucked. The goal is to take 1 in San Diego. Up in the air whether or not they can actually accomplish that, but I’ll continue rooting for the team no matter what happens.

  12. The first few innings I could chalk this up to shit luck (robbed HR, two liner outs to a bad fielder in Arraez, a couple leaping catches by Tatis and Merrill). But after that, it was just one uninspired at bat after another (up until Muncy’s HR, anyways).

Pitching-wise, it was nice that Flaherty settled in but would it kill a pitcher to not immediately put this team in a hole? The bullpen later on was awful, but those are also guys that normally wouldn’t be turned to in important situations so I’m trying to cope with that fact. One thing I’ve noticed all season is the height of a pitch doesn’t matter to the padres, if the pitch is over the middle third they’re gonna crush it. Pitchers gotta start hitting the corners otherwise they’re fucked.

It’s frustrating that the Padres are a team that is already hyper-focused on beating the Dodgers, and then the dumbasses in left field gave them something extra to galvanize over.

I’m not on the “It’s over” boat until it’s actually over, but this team needs to show some fucking life immediately on Tuesday

  13. Bold strategy by the Padres using up all their runs for the remainder of the series tonight

  14. Ohtani should make a locker room speech like he did before the WBC final and tell the boys he doesn’t want his first postseason to end in San Diego. A “get it fucking together guys” talk. They need it

  15. As much as the offense sucked / MV3 bats being non-existent, I truly believe it’s the abysmal starting pitching that fucks them over. When was the last game that we started off with a lead??? We can’t always expect our players to overcome a 3 run deficit from the get-go.

Our pitching staff have to be fucking accountable and that includes MARK PRIOR. He doesn’t get enough flak or people talking about him when it’s our SPs that literally SHIT THE BED WHEN IT MATTERS MOST. No decent pitching plan whatsoever to check the Padres lineup.

TATIS literally obliterated all our pitchers.

  16. We live and die by Ohtani. He wasn’t there today. Lots of other reasons too, obviously, but he is the catalyst. Hate that this became about the “fans” today. Bad vibes to go into the day off.

  17. All these years of being a fan has taught me that momentum doesn’t really carry over game-to-game like you’d expect it to.

Dodgers win G3 of the 2018 WS in a knock down drag out 18-inning game and look poised to tie the series? We all know how that turned out. 2020 NLCS G3, we explode for 11 runs in the first inning and are totally dormant in G4.

My point is that this loss is just that. One loss. They’re not going to hit 6-homeruns every time, better now than in a game where we’re actually hitting too.

  18. Pls tell me I’m not the only sane person in here? It’s 1-1 boys? Like can we calm down?

  19. As much as I think Roberts is a numbnut this isn’t on him. Mookie has got to get his shit together and Friedman needs to assemble a better staff next season.

At this point we may need to sign Snell.
