Yzerman just put a lot more pressure on this team to make the playoffs because if you're not developing your young player you damn sure better make the playoffs otherwise the whole season is a waste time. To that point if we don't make the playoffs I'd be for shit canning Yzerman. If all these players Yzerman has drafted since Raymond need over 3 years to make a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 8 year then you aren't drafting for shit.

7. I've seen some terrible takes in regards to this news, but fans have good reason to be upset with this CONSTANT burying of our prospects. Like it really sucks to think that our beloved team may just be one of 'those' orgs.

9. Im guessing that Kasper didnt force his way on the team. Ken Yzerman said he would make room if someone forced their way on the team, guess he didnt do enough. I hope im wrong, and Kasper makes the team and plays a 2nd or 3rd line role, no matter if its center or on the wing.

10. I love Kasper and want him on the team but I also like Watson and want him on the team right away. Kasper should be the first call up and get as many games as possible

    As far as MBN goes, the plan was for him to go back the whole time. He already started their season over there then came here. Hopefully he is a grand rapids griffin next the following year

14. I dont get the pro Watson people. The guy is straight garbage. I dont even think he has ever won a fight either. Just look at the leafs. Anytime they use reeves they struggle to win.

15. Dont worry folks. There will be some injurys and these kids will be hard to get rid of then. Plus the kids can gel in GR this year playing tons of minutes

16. Watson has scored 14 goals, and averages 10 goals a season. He isn’t just a pure fighter. He can thump without being a liability.

17. Hockey has been getting harder to enjoy as players just cheap shot talented players, like Raymond, while the refs ignore it. Even when the refs are staring right at it when the play is dead, so they can't cry about "speed of the game" when asked about it. We've seen it with Larkin getting crosschecked in the back neck/head and getting knocked out. No suspensions for either opposing player. A traditional goon is needed these days when the refs and the league fail to do anything about teams targeting the Wings' talent. Sign a few more when Watson gets suspended for doing the refs job for them.
