I had a lengthy sitdown with Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck in Abu Dhabi.
He discussed the looming sale, his plan to remain in control, Steve Pagliuca’s candidacy, the Cs’ financial situation, and more.

Nothing eye-popping but about what I would expect from Wyc. Hopefully, it goes as he says/implies (getting someone to be a Steward who puts the Celtics first) and then Pags can win the bidding process.
Did he go rogue and give out the contracts despite opposition from his dad/other owners?
Feels weird
Wyc is the GOAT because he was forced in to this because dad yelled at him for using his credit card to keep this team together for another couple of years
