  1. We need a couple hitters that are not all or nothing , and usually make contact and with good on base percentages . Not an easy task , I know . Until this team can win more games manufacturing runs , will always be a quick exit in the post season .

  2. Glad we have wasted all our pre arb years of Adley. Last year of Gunnar’s pre arb.

    Emulating the rays/brewers will truly
    Only get you so far.

  3. Not surprising this club has zero player options. That is empowering to players. Elias, the technocrat merchant, can not give mobility/optionality/power to players.

  4. 😊we have a great outlook on the starting rotation for 2025-2026. I also believe that the Detroit Tigers showed the effectiveness of utilizing multiple pitcher matchups and I believe two PITCHING evolutions that will occur in MLB…1 players who can pitch and bat and field (thanks to Ohtani) 2 Pitching multiple pitchers to mitigate matchups. Don’t get me wrong the starter is important but I foresee a flipping where a reliever starts then a starter for long innings and maybe even completing games. I hope our Minor Leagues will start shaping such talent and I am sure upcoming draftees will begin showing these trends.

  5. 😮I disagree with Santander and Corbin Burnes. If we had not made a playoff run this year Santander undoubtedly would’ve been traded. I am still reeling from two of the worst contracts that handcuffed the Orioles for the last decade…Jelbaldo Jeminez and Davis. Both produced nothing for our post season strength and Jeminez lost the 2016 post season for us. Anthony produced a lot for the Orioles but his post season production was lousy. He has earned the right to get a contract and add what’s left of his productive career to another team. Make the qualifying offers, get the draft picks and stay on course with our development plan. For gosh sakes we traded away Hall, Norby and Stowers for near zero return. Norby became a third baseman this year. I’d rather have Stowers in the outfield. I hope we can get Trevor Rodgers productive next year. 🙄

  6. Watching the post season after O's exit, you see how utterly incompetent O's hitters are against good pitching. The hitters on the remaining playoff teams hardly ever miss hittable pitches in the zone, especially the FB. Watch the replays of Harper crushing the 99-mph FB off Severino and the 6 homers Padreds hit against Dodgers last night. They all crush the FB.
