  1. Once Karlsson said he would be ready for opening night, it was kind of clear he would go back to junior.

Nonetheless, an amazing camp and there is always next year.

  2. Bummer.

Probably thinking ‘What the hell else do I have to do to make the team?’

  3. He’s barely 18 let’s see this kid develop! it could be his blue line in 3 years.

  4. Very rare for an 18 year old player to make the jump, let alone a defenseman. Looking forward to his development!

  5. Since McGroarty is already a lock for the Calder it gives him a chance next season. Considerate front office move

  6. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

look how they massacred my boy.

  7. Not unsurprising but it does make losing Ludvig kind of suck and the blue line depth super sketchy. Leaves EK65, Letang, Pettersson, JSI, Grzelyck, Shea & unfortunately Graves as the 7 NHL defensemen plus Aho in WBS who hopefully clears waivers later. But if Aho does get claimed, is there even another guy in WBS right now that could step up and give semi competent NHL minutes?
