   I’ll make the bold claim that this series is basically over if we don’t win today. Skubal is pitching game 2 and game 5. I’d have to imagine that our game plan entering the series was to have the Cy Young win his 2 games, and pray we can steal one of the other 3.

3. Just wish we could play the NLDS every day instead. This series feels like a giant waste of time outside of Skubal. Fans deserve to see players people care about like Ohtani, Tatis, Harper, and Lindor

5. Am I really going to be blacked out of this game? Man. Baseball really hates Iowa apparently.

9. The plan has to be to get Skubal out of the game in the 5th or 6th inning. Tigers bullpen is really good, but not on par with Cleveland’s.

15. People who watched the AL Central more than I did this year: if/when Boyd is taken out and Carpenter comes in to pinch hit, who is getting taken out of the Tigers’ lineup?

18. The Guards pitching in game 1 was probably the best I’ve ever seen. Granted, I’ve only been following the sport since spring training, but it was a masterclass.

29. I’m curious why they have a platinum glove for each league? It’s not like there’s a difference in the rules between the leagues that would make fielding different between the 2. Feels like it should just be 1 each year to the best fielder in the league
