  1. Hell ya! And to my understanding this does nothing for us cap wise given his low cap? So we can still pick up a 5-7m player with retention at trade deadline?

  2. Did Jiri actually move to Boston? I’d be pissed if I had to move all the way to the east coast only to have to move back within less a week

  3. It’ll be interesting how the D situation in Abby plays out. They were already log jammed on the left side with Hirose going down, now more so with Brannstrom in the picture

  4. The reason the management and Tocchet are bald is their head literally has no more free space left because their brains are so big.

  5. Being able to keep Brannstrom is actually massive. He’s small and doesn’t fit the Tocchet plan but he’s got LOADS of talent and his analytics are pretty great. The kid can play let him learn our systems and he’s honestly a great partner for Desharnais.

  6. im glad! abby’s goaltending should be pretty solid now that they have tolopilo and patera

  7. Bruins fan here. You guys will really like this kid, put in a lot of work with the Bs

  8. Wow. We claimed Petera back and have solid goaltending depth with Demko out. And then we got some pretty good defensive depth. I’m excited about the season!!!

I think if the team can remain relatively healthy (seems to always be the concern) then we’ve got a really good chance at going all the way. If we struggle to remain healthy. Then yeah. I can see us bowing out in the playoffs again – second round.

  9. Jiri Patera is back on waivers.

    Reddit:
Vancouver can now do the funniest thing.

    Allvin:
    Actually does it.

  10. Petera just went on a nice cross continent flight to check out the fall foliage of Massachusetts, snuck in a quick practice, and headed back to the west coast.

  11. It’s almost unfathomable how much I missed having competent management.

Benning pulled off the biggest con in management history. Dude made $300k-500k a year to eat crayons and run out of time.
