This was completely avoidable. Instead, we lose another young talent for nothing. The cupboards are bare outside of Savoie and what do we have to show for it? I called it in the chat during the last Oilersnation Everyday that waiving Lavoie would be a mistake and someone would claim him. Is it really worth losing a kid with upside that the team has spent years developing for another season of Perry? I don't understand why this organization continues to insist on shooting itself in the foot.
