  4. Playoff baseball is a completely different sport than regular season baseball.

    Did you forget Mahle? Not sure how much I trust him yet, but he’s penciled in for our #2. He just came off Tommy John, but he’ll be 18 months removed from it next season, which is the time it takes.

    But what we need is easy, a #2 and #4 starter (Eovaldi and Heaney would be great, but there may be options), three veteran relievers (Yates and Robertson would be great, but rolling the dice on any works as well), and a DH, 2025 will be the year of the full time DH, mark my words.

    I’ve been saying I want Sasaki, but I don’t think he’ll be posted. He’s too young and the Marines will lose a ton of money by letting him go early.
