The Raiders are “close to finalizing” a deal that will send WR Davante Adams to the Jets, per league source.

As a packer fan I can tell y’all that this source is pretty good when it comes to Packers info so they probably know have connections to the Adams and/or Rodgers camps, definitely not like Schefter or Rapoport so this isn’t technically a confirmation but I would be surprised if Adams is not a Jet

Davante Adams will surely help fix our Offensive Line and inept coaching
It is what it is. More Davante-> Rodgers safety blanket, less attention of GW, Mike Will, less Lazard. I would say it would mean less attention for Breece and Braelan but that is more of an O-line issue

Not excited to double down on going all in on 2024 on what is not a championship level team with or without Adams. Either they’re winning it all or sacrificing the Jets future to do so knowing those responsible won’t be around if it goes badly. With that said, they’re not winning it all.

Big if true, though I’m still worried about the coaching and being able to properly utilize him if we get him on a 2 year deal and get rid of Saleh we might finally be proper contenders. Hell, even letting Rodgers have more control of play calling would help. Feels like we’ve never sent a pass beyond 25 yards this season.
if anything we now have one of the best offensive weapons and any qb or coach will consider us
I just hope it’s not a second rounder or one of our wide receivers, not named Lazard.

I’d consider the “close to” redundant. Both situations it isn’t “finalised.”
