  1. Shades of “House of Chains” from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series.

    “Lead me, Warleader”

  2. today’s game is a must win IMO.

Ohtani matches up well vs King and unless they decide to just throw balls and walk Ohtani, I think Ohtani will have a big game today.

  3. It is strange to me that the current Dodgers don’t have a leader like times past. Or am I wrong? I guess JT was the leader a generation ago. Maybe because this team has so many living legends?

  4. I mean with Mookie being as cold as he is, Freddie being injured, and our pitching staff being eviscerated by injury, who else do we have?

  5. I’d argue the first thought in Ohtani’s mind might have been “that Japan team had way more discipline than this one does”

  6. These are the intangibles that Kiké brings to the locker room that I kept bringing up when people were saying we shouldn’t sign him.

  7. You don’t need the whole team to be on fire. You do need one more person besides ohtani to win.

  8. In other words “Please carry us. We have no clue what we’re doing, and Roberts’s management is most definitely not working.”
