I absolutely would entertain it! I think we've got room in the cap and 2 4th round picks aren't pricey at all for a player under contract for close to 3 years. Walker is right sized at 6 "5" 272lbs and fast enough to be a 3 down player with a 4.5 40. That's incredibly fast for a man his size and the reason why Walker went 1st overall in the 1st round. The question really is one of whether the Jags go for it. I'm thinking he's worth more than 2 4th rounders so I'm doubtful, but its a great fit if we get him.

I've poo-poo'ed pretty much all of the Edge trades and FAs you've wanted….but this one DOES make a lot of sense. I don't think 2 fourths would do it though, it will probably cost a 2nd round pick and I'm cool with that. If he plays well and we don't resign after 5th year option, we would probably get a 3rd round comp pick anyway.

They aren’t trading for him. He’s about to get paid. If healthy he’ll get about 11-12 sacks this year. His cap will be high for his first major contract after this rookie contract

Not a bad pick up would be solid opposite of Hutch and I think the closest we seen to something like this was Chase Young and Nick Bosa who were both taken #2 . Bosa in 2019 and Young in 2020.
