  1. Yes we know…

We also were inches away from trading for and signing Jram long term but he wanted to live in Cleveland instead 😭

  2. This is so tiring…. And also redundant. VERY redundant.

It was reportedly a decision between higher ceiling yet longer-term prospects vs a package that included ready-now players. There ain’t nothing new about this reporting. BTW, Castrovince (source in the link I shared) is a long time Cleveland MLB reporter.

  3. Toronto, not just the Jays, feels like it’s always inches away from signing everyone in every sport. It’s very frustrating seeing our teams fail to sign major players or trade for constantly.

  4. Don’t know why you’re crying, the fanbase would have drove him off before a long-term deal because Bo would be given all the playtime in the world before him.

  5. Atkins would have traded him for some washed up left handed specialist bullpen arm anyway.

  6. IWoulda coulda shoulda is a distraction from the task at hand. Sign two thumpers and fix the bullpen

  7. Yeah….It’s news like this that brings depression to my heart. I try not to read those kind of stories or else i’ll be jumping out of this building LOL

  8. It’s ok guys, we can all be excited about the huge pivotal offseason move of signing Bowden Francis to a long term contract..this team’s future is so bleak
