  1. PDG was asking for it when he only produced 5 goals with his stone cold hands that cannot hit the net all all. Gotta improve your accuracy bud

  2. I've been a fan since 1990, and I say no. They're a legitimate Top 4 defenseman, preferably shutdown, away from that. Every team in the league with the Cap is going to have holes, so with that one piece, they're in the conversation. But the caveat is that Demko has to be healthy throughout the playoffs. If he is, yes, they're contender. If he isn't, maybe they're a playoff team and that's it. But parity is such that nothing is certain.

  3. I agree that they're better on paper. But I also think last years team was fairly good. Even Bouvillier and Lafferty were good players. We won the division and Saucy only played 40 games ? Saucy is an important piece.

  4. Short answer, no.
    They are probably a playoff team, but will be bounced in the first round or the second if they get lucky.
    They are not built for the playoffs. Teams will just beat up on Hughes, and Petey hides from the rough stuff.
