[IMac] Rick Tocchet says Aatu Raty likely to play tonight. Pius Suter would be the extra forward.

RATY HAS MADE OPENING DAY LINE UP!!
Suter was banged up in the last week so glad they have the depth to sit him out when he’s probably not at 100% yet

I’m surprised they’re sitting Suter instead of Aman. Suter must still be banged up
He’s earned it
Finally this team has real, solid depth and we can rest players until they are 100% ready to play
I’m so happy for him. When he got traded here I wasn’t sure how he would turn out but he’s worked hard and earned his spot. I can’t wait to see how he does on the team.
Says a lot about Raty’s camp as well that they feel comfortable resting Suter.
Suter averaged the 4th most minutes out of all forwards last season (5th including Lindholm). He’s a guy that Toch’ really leans on in all situations.
Just so I can be clear going into the season: it’s pronounced A-too Ra-too, right? Up there with Xhekaj for confusion level.
Really need Raty to shine for that Horvat trade to be a win for us.
He’s scoring tonight
Wow Raty making the team with this depth is huge. He has a wicked shot and Garland will definitely take him under his wing.
Why do they pronounce it ratoo when it looks like ratee?
With the Canuck management adding Salt, Sand and Speed to the same core as last year, I feel pretty good about how this team seems to be constructed with the playoffs in mind.
The Horvat trade keeps on giving
