5. I went to a game way back when with my girlfriend and some other friends. We were running late and when we got there everyone wanted to go to the team store. I was like, “Nope, nope….already missed a couple minutes. I’m heading to the seats.” The Kings scored the only two goals they scored that night in a winning game before the group got to the seats. I couldn’t believe them. Turns out my girlfriend was buying me my first jersey. Purple Crown Dustin Brown jersey. I’d been a fan for awhile but lived on a tight budget. Not sure if there’s a point to this story, other than I’m a huge fan of Dustin Brown, and I really appreciate that jersey.
