  1. Screw it. I hope they do they do make
It. It’ll make me feel a tiny it better that we lost to the best time at the time. Am I going to like it? No.

  2. There is zero denying it any longer……the Cubs had the GOAT the Sox had the Bambino curse….we have this

  3. And since playoff expansion, no NL team that has received a bye has made it out of the DS. Pretty wild.

  4. My proposal (and someone probably beat me to this, I know) is that we call this the Pilots Curse.

Milwaukee gets the team after one disastrous season in Seattle but keeps getting axed from the playoffs by World Series-bound (and usually WS-winning) teams.

Meanwhile, Seattle’s replacement team is the only MLB franchise to never get to the Series.

Only way to break this is with a Mariners/Brewers World Series.

That’s my proposal to start calling this the Pilots Curse.

  5. To break the curse, the Brewers need to lose to the Brewers in the playoffs. It’s called Brewception.

  6. I’ve been max betting the Mets to reverse the curse. I’m up Hundreds of dollars and still sad.

  7. I think this is why the bite if the apple theory makes sense. With 40% of the teams now making the playoffs, it really just matters who gets hot at the right time. The regular season matters so much less now than it used to when several less made it. Now get in and take a shot.

  8. I’m done with baseball until they abolish the three game series. I will never never never follow another 160 game season, secure 90+ wins, and then lose 3 game fucking series to the world Champs. If you think it’s right that the NHL amd NBA play a real series, but the easiest most non contact sport of all time can’t be bothered to put on a real series. Fuck MLB fuck baseball

  9. I would say always the bridesmaid, never the bride, but at this point it’s like we’re always the usher lol.

  10. Last year the two worst teams to make the playoffs went to the WS.

Hopefully this year it’ll be the same with the Mets and Tigers going all the way.

Just so we can really drive it home what a crap shoot the post season is.

It should make us feel better about our post season record, but instead I’m just annoyed that with all those chances we haven’t gotten lucky once.

    Sigh.
