Had to do a double take when they first showed it. Looks like a lot of it is gone from what they’re showing on TV.
Wow
Wasn’t it converted to a shelter? I saw pictures of cots being set up a few days ago. I’m sorry dudes this really sucks. I hope everyone stays safe and gets through this
Fuuuuuuuuck
I don’t like this kind of flapping
Dunno who thought it was smart to house hundreds of first responders there. This is heart-wrenching to see our trop in this state.
Has this ever happened before? It looks terminal.
I am in downtown St Pete without power and I’m very lucky I have two cell phones T-Mobile is one the other is Verizon and only the Verizon network is working. The wind for the last two and a half hours has been terrifying and the rain has been awful. The roof is leaking the floors are leaking we are on the third floor. We are not in a zone that was supposed to evacuate. I am probably not going to sleep the rest of tonight.
I worry about the rescue crews and responders at the Trop. And the weather forecast that I see says more rain throughout the day and I really hope that’s not true.
God bless you all let’s pray we make it through this in one piece
If anyone wants to send me a message so we can chat about anything I would love that. I’d love anything to take my mind off of what’s happening.
Kind of crazy that this happened on the first October in years that we aren’t in the playoffs. Imagine if we were in the ALDS and didn’t have a place to play

Watching it now on abc holy shit
Reporting it live on WFTS now as well. They have a reporter at 17th and Central a few blocks away
That was housing EMS workers 😔
I was just watching this too. I hope the people inside can get cover still.
this is insane
Holy shit
I’m gonna be sick. Hopefully all of the National Guard and linesmen stationed there are okay.
UPDATE: it got way worse: https://x.com/BC_Johnson/status/1844210311622164669?t=yBzSEKtJMc_sJvp-6NRwQA&s=19

Oh my god I’m so sad. I’m gonna cry like a baby when they demolish it this is proof I’m not ready
14 inches of rain in St. Pete, and now this.
Hope all my Flappy Bois and Girls are doing okay there.
My heart 💔
I just saw this on my local news, Terrible. Praying for everyone in Tampa
I hope the actual rays in the tank on gamedays are ok
I’m actually about to cry right now. We might not see another game at the Trop. And with all the EMS people in it I really hope they’re all okay
