Scorching line drive out, drove the ball to right that was close, BS call on the strike 3 check swing… Judge is about to break out of this. He hits better deeper into the playoffs.

Some of the strike calls by umpire were well out of the strike zone.

I'll admit I nearly fell off the couch when G hit the rope double — I thought he would do nothing all series. Then came the rocket single and I knew he had found a zone. The SB? WTF? When he hit the HR I was not at all surprised except by the fact that the Royals gave him anything to hit in that AB even if it was a ball. Why would you give him yet another offspeed pitch? That's what he can still hit the crap out of! When a guy like him is in the zone you just avoid him. I gotta give it to him — he surprised me as player of the game.
Weaver? What else can you say? That 5 out save was big time and he just looks like ice out there.
