saw this on my feed and figured I’d forward it this way. tldr:
> Caden Dana’s four-seamer and his slider are released about 7 inches apart, on average. His four-seamer and his curve are released about 6.5 inches apart. Hitters, uhhhh, can see that.
Glad to hear our coaching staff is handling this 🙃
How is this not caught by the guys in the minor league system? Or in the big leagues? We are sooooo far behind in development, it’s not even funny
And thats why his ERA is over 10
He’s a minor league player working his way up. Perhaps….and hear me out…he’s not a finished product.
This is why just calling guys up because you failed at building depth is a bad idea.
This is an obvious case of a guy that just needs development time, as does most all 20 year old prospect pitchers. Throwing him to the wolves doesn’t help
Angels pitchers would get better instruction training in the SEC.
Now show us the graphs for the league’s best pitchers. Im curious.
This is basically development level zero. No wonder he looked like shit despite decent-looking stuff.
Forget tipping pitches, this is literally “big league hitters can see the difference and predict the pitch”
God bless jered weaver
Does anyone think the new facility being built at Tempe will make a difference in improving the team ?
Would it be wrong of me to tag some of the angels pitching coordinator’s on Twitter
