One of the worst parts about hockey season is the new wave of nonsensical graphs that feel randomly put together. Next up: a random graph with 89 different numbers and colors that the author tells me is a very clear indicator that any day now, the Caps will be as bad as Hockey Twitter wants them to be.
I mean, it’s not wrong until proven otherwise but I do think this team may be able to surprise some people. Deep playoff runs require a depth the team doesn’t have though. As for the future. I think the team is actually positioned to rebuild very quickly. If they have a very bad year in 2026/7 or something they could get a high pick, have a ton of money off the books, and be ready to open a new window
