Woke up this morning (kinda sad tbh) and saw we have 5k in the Pads subreddit. This can’t be all folks on the west coast (kinda early no?). Proof that our “small market” team can also drive up ratings across the nation.
Get through the day. Believe in our MOY and the team. And wait for tomorrow nights game. Guaranteed we’ll have viewership and many faithful watching. (You’re listening and watching from up there right Peter??)

Keep the Faith! Growing up my family wasn’t big on sports. My grandma was the only one amd she loved baseball. She would tell me about how in the Philippines she plated softball and was good at it. We moved in SD in the late 80s, and I will say I fully became a Padres fan enjoying watching Gwynn, Ashby, and Sheffield.
The past 3 years has been special. I’ve always been a fan and supported the team even when we were terrible. But these past few years actually brought me back to love baseball as a whole to where I started collecting baseball cards again with my son. Excited because he’s going to potentially start little league soon too. So it’s been exciting to be a Padres fan.
That was around the total number of followers on the entire page when I first joined in 2017 lol. PS did wonders changing this team culture
