Jets place Kaapo Kahkonen on waivers; Eric Comrie will be the Winnipeg backup

I did say having **Eric Comrie** backing up in the final two preseason games and in the season opener was curious.
Happy for Comrie!!! They obviously must be happy with how he looked in the preseason games and in scrimmages and practices. NOBODY BEATS THE BRICK!!
Wow totally unexpected
A little surprising but Comrie did play well in his preseason game and is well liked in the locker room
I thought this would happen as Comrie has been here before and worked well with Hellebuyck. Why rock the boat with someone that is unknown, especially with a backup that will have at most 25 starts.
I thought for sure he was brought in to mentor in the A. My bad.
Nobody beats The Brick!!! Whooo, suck it Kahky! You’re not taking Comrie’s spot on his fourth (?) tour of Jets duty!
Another example of the Jets unending loyalty to a member of their organization. Not saying it’s the wrong choice, he’ll do well backing up Helly.
3rd times the charm for Comrie?
So in other words expect hellebyuck to be a work horse this year because we have a AHL calibre backup. Let’s hope Helle stays healthy all season
