After the recent wave of support, the “WRIGLEY FIELD” model on LEGO IDEAS by user Duncan.Ideas has made a leap to 2,501 votes! But the goal is still reaching 10,000 supporters, which will give this model the chance of becoming a real LEGO set.

  1. I’m surprised that Lego and MLB/NFL/NBA/NHL don’t have something lined up for stadiums and other sports options. I would imagine it would make bank, especially for how much legos cost.

I would imagine it’s a license issue, but I would buy this for my son and I to work on.

  2. I know there is a stadium brick license on some off brand Lego stuff. I’ve seen it. I suspect that this isn’t currently possible or otherwise we would already have them. Votes on Lego ideas probably aren’t going to change that unfortunately.

LEGO sells better than any other Lego knockoff. But if the off brand knockoff paid for an exclusive license….
