(Duggan) Daboll said WR Malik Nabers is in the same stage of the concussion protocol yesterday. That’s a concerning development for his chances of being cleared for Sunday.

  1. It’s concerning to see him getting hurt this early in his career, I hope it’s not a recurring theme with him. Regardless, I’m glad to see he isn’t being rushed back in or anything like that.

  2. Should we be concerned about how much time he’s missing? I’m certainly not an expert on concussions, but this has got to be a bad sign that 3 weeks later he is still dealing with symptoms. I feel like most people are usually back the next week.

  3. I think they know he’s not playing, but don’t want to give Cincy a clear picture yet. I hope they rest him.

  4. There’s a rumor on Twitter of him going to a Travis Scott concert yesterday night. I’m nowhere near a doctor but that would be a good cause for this small setback if true. That or they’re just being super cautious with him and he’s ok, which I personally believe is the case.

  5. Well even tho I’ll be disappointed to not see chase vs nabers in person, give him all the time he needs to make sure his head is right

  6. Who cares if he plays or not. Giants are probably not making the playoffs and he’s our future. Take all the time you want nabers

  7. Missing him this week would suck, but I’m more worried about long term. This was clearly a substantial concussion. Can’t get too many of those and not put career in jeopardy. Happy that Shep managed to avoid them since he almost need to retire.

  8. Dude, I’m going to the game Sunday and was absolutely pumped to see this dude. Hope he’s able to be out there!

  9. NBC gonna be pissed off about this lol, but screw em, get healthy and not make this a recurring matter.

  10. The last thing he needs is to rush back and get hurt again. Please keep him out until he’s 100%. He took one hit Sunday and I thought he was going to break his neck.

And why is Hyatt running 48 sprints and we don’t send at least one pass his way? Is Daboll using him only to clear out the defense? Pretty sure D’s are just going to ignore him. He’s like the guy you know is never going to get a pass thrown his way.

  11. Shiiiiiiit. I don’t like that news. But positive spin, it gives other players the opportunity to step up again and Jones the chance to look for other guys.

  12. Damn I was hoping he would break the rookie receiving records, I hope he still can in 15 games if that’s the case

  13. Rest him the whole season as far as I’m concerned. That man is our future, we’re not winning a Super Bowl this year

  14. Given how the NFL allows Josh Allen to have smelling salts applied to his knee, this is concerning

  15. He’s got a serious problem and I wouldn’t be surprised if for his own good, he has to leave football. At the very least, his play will be affected. Don’t expect he’s going to dive for that type of pass that Jones put on him when he became injured.

We won’t know his state of mind until he returns but I’m not expecting he will be the same player going over the middle of the field etc.
