One small detail I always noticed is that AOC hides the ball well during PA. Minshew doesn’t extend the arm before pulling back and defense could pick up on that very quickly.
I’m so glad he changed his jersey number.
What I am wondering is why he wasn’t QB1 from the start. Adams was singing his praises in the off season, why not start the QB your star receiver wants?
It was kinda his job to lose in camp, and given that Minshew started the season, all signs point to AOC losing the camp battle.
If the OL really is that bad, and they just wanted someone “mobile” back there to try to save plays, then he’s being set up to be feasted upon by TJ Watt.
Hope he kills it tho, would be very happy if he ended up being the franchise QB and we can spend some draft capital on depth. (I know it’s unlikely, but let’s hold out hope til it’s crushed under the weight of the steel curtain)
He should get the rest of the year to prove it, but unless he absolutely kills it, we should be drafting a QB 1st-2nd round
He seemed to have chemistry with Tucker right out of the gate. Will be nice to not see him underthrown a ton.
Lets go AOC! No matter who are QB is ill root for them, just win baby!
The fatal raider nation need to always point the finger at the QB. Minshew is no rockstar but do you see our O-line? The poor bastard gets about .8 seconds every other drop back to make a pass.
Fuck we need to draft a QB in the first next draft so damn bad. Worst qb room in the league.
